Winger Marcel Brache scored three tries within 15 minutes as Force trounced Sunwolves 40-22 in their Super Rugby game at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium.

The start was not an auspicious one for Force as Sunwolves winger Akihito Yamada scored the first try of the game inside three minutes.

However, that was the only success for the Sunwolves in the first-half as the American-born Brache scored hat-trick of tries in a span of 14 minutes, which was then followed by another try from flanker Brynard Stander as Force took a 26-5 lead at the end of 40 minutes.

Even though there was a drop of intensity from the Force in the second half, their fifth try came in the 51st minute with number-8 Ben McCalman scoring it.

With a scoreline of 33-5, Sunwolves looked out of the game but they made a brief comeback with tries from Tusi Pisi, Derek Carpenter and Yamada to reduce the margin of defeat which inturn denied Force the bonus point.

The win has also lifted Force ahead of the Sunwolves and Kings in the battle to avoid the wooden spoon.
