Fiji confirm matchday squad for Uruguay clash

Fiji head coach John McKee has made 12 changes for the second round World Cup clash against Uruguay to be played in Kamaishi on Wednesday.

Skipper Dominiko Waqaniburotu along with Leone Nakarawa and Semi Radradra have retained their place in the starting line-up from the opening game against Wales. Mesulame Dolokoto, Jale Vatubua, and Filipo Nakosi will make their World Cup debuts for Fiji after being part of the starting XV.

Dominiko is joined in back-row by Mosese Voka and Nakarawa with Tevita Ratuva and Api Ratuniyarawa in second row and Eroni Mawi, Dolokoto and Manasa Saulo in front row.

Josh Matavesi will take the fly-half role and Henry Seniloli at scrum-half while Vereniki Goneva and Nakosi are positioned at wings. Alivereti Veitokani will start at fullback with Semi Radradra forming centre partnership with Jale Vatubua.

Number eight Viliame Mata and openside flanker Peceli Yato have been ruled out of the encounter with calf and head injuries respectively.
