Wasps 17-14 Toulouse, Ricoh Arena
Scorecard

Replacement Dan Robson scored a try in the final minute as Wasps managed to edge out Toulouse in a tight 17-14 win at Ricoh Arena on Saturday to keep their hopes of making to the quarter-final of European Champions Cup alive.

The first half saw both the teams compete hard with centre Jimmy Gopperth's penalty in the 29th minute being the only points scored. Wasps went into half-time with a slender three-point lead.

After the break, wing Yoann Huget crossed over to get Toulouse off the mark and fly-half Jean-Marc Doussain's conversion meant, the visitors claimed a four-point lead and a minute later Wasps were reduced to 14-men temporarily when Christian Wade was sin-binned.

Elliot Daly helped Wasps reclaim the lead when he crossed over in the 61st minute but Dai Young's men were pegged back with a yellow card to Danny Cipriani after he was accused of stealing the ball illegally, resulting in a penalty try for the French team. Conversion from Doussain allowed Toulouse to have a lead of four points heading into the final five minutes.

However, Robson had other plans as he scored the decisive try in the 79th minute while Gopperth's conversion was enough for Wasps to seal a thrilling three-point win.

The win has taken Wasps to second position in Pool 2 with 17 points while Connacht and Toulose are placed first and third with 18 and 14 points respectively.
