Scotland centre Alex Grove has left Aviva Premiership club Worcester on loan for an unspecified amount of time, joining London Scottish in the Greene King IPA Championship.

Grove, capped three times by Scotland, made his Warriors debut in the 2006-07 season and has gone to make over 150 appearances for the club.

But the 28-year-old, a product of the Warriors' academy, has found his opportunities in the first team limited following Worcester's return to the Premiership and has only made five appearances this season.

"The Scotland international moves to the Exiles to gain more adequate game-time," read a statement on the Warriors' official website.
