Will-Griff John pens new deal with Sale Sharks

Former Wales Under 20 international Will-Griff John has penned a new deal with Sale Sharks that will keep him with the Aviva Premiership club until 2021.

The 25-year-old started his professional rugby debut with Pontypridd and had stints with Cardiff Blues, Northland and RFU Championship side Doncaster Knights before joining Sale Sharks in 2017.

"I'm really happy to have signed the new contract and I'm very pleased with how things are going," he said.

"There are several other boys who have already signed new contracts which is really exciting for everyone here."

Sale Sharks are currently placed eighth in the Premiership table with eight wins from 17 games.
