Will Genia sidelined with hamstring injury

Melbourne Rebels will miss the services of Australia international Will Genia for their next two games in the ongoing season of Super Rugby following a hamstring injury.

The 30-year-old left the field during the 49th minute in last weekend's game against Jaguares which Rebels went on to lose 22-25 at AAMI Park.

Genia underwent a scan at the end of the game that revealed grade one hamstring strain and now will miss the away games against Bulls and Stormers on 21st and 28th April respectively.

Rebels are currently positioned second in Australian Conference after a mixed season of four wins and three defeats from seven games.
