Waratahs have confirmed the inclusion of Taqele Naiyaravoro for the final round of the Super Rugby clash against Western Force to be played at NIB Stadium on Saturday.

Naiyaravoro, who will occupy the right wing will replace Bryce Hegarty in the line up after the latter was forced off the field in the previous game with a hamstring injury.

Waratahs head coach Daryl Gibson expressed disappointment on losing Hegarty but insisted that Naiyaravoro's addition in a straightforward decision.

“Losing Bryce Hegarty was a disappointment as he’s been a real impact player for us and he was playing well before he had to come off last week,” said Gibson.

“I was really pleased with the way Taqele played when he came on and so that was an easy decision to make this week.”

Nick Phipps, who was sidelined with an ankle injury since May has been named among replacements along with Mack Mason and David Lolohea, who also return to the matchday 23.

Waratahs are positioned fourth in Australian Conference with four wins from 14 matches.
