The Wallabies concluded their 2016 Rugby Championship campaign with a 21-33 win over the Pumas in a spiteful Test while displaying tons of ill-discipline at the Twickenham Stadium in London on Saturday.

Michael Cheika's men earned the ire of French match referee Mathieu Raynal for their physical play as they lost key forwards Michael Hooper and Adam Coleman to the sin-bin.

Coleman helped the Wallabies make their early mark on the scoreboard after crossing over for a try on the fifth minute. The TMO was consulted before the try was awarded to the Wallabies lock.

Inside-centre Bernard Foley slotted the conversion (0-7).

A bit of pressure in the Pumas 22 resulted in a penalty out in front on the 11th minute as Foley successfully slotted the three-pointer.

On 17th minute, the Wallabies openside-flanker Michael Hooper was sent to the bin for a high tackle. Cashing on the opportunity, Pumas centre Matias Alemanno crossed over the try line from a lineout drive.

Fly-half Santiago Gonzalez Iglesias failed to make the conversion as the scoreline remained intact on 5-10.

Foley landed another penalty (5-13) from out in front on the 27th minute, as Iglesias missed from out in front a couple of minutes later.

Coleman was sent to the sin-bin on the 31st minute for grabbing Pumas scrum-half Martin Landajo's neck.

Pumas' skipper and hooker Agustin Creevy's shoddy lineout feed handed possession to the Wallabies on the Pumas 22 as Wallabies outside-centre Samu Kerevi crossed over for an excellent try.

Foley failed to land the conversion as the scoreline remained 5-18.

Iglesias' penalty on the final minute of the first-half reduced the deficit for the Pumas down to 10 points.

Five minutes into the second-half, inside-centre Jeronimo De La Fuente scored the second try for the Pumas. Iglesias' conversion brought the deficit down to just three points.

However, Kerevi scored his second try of the match on the 50th minute following a sloppy no-look pass from lock Guido Petti Pagadizabal.

Foley added the extras with the conversion (15-25) as the Wallabies restored their half-time lead.

Iglesias' 55th minute penalty kept Daniel Hourcade's men hanging into the game as the two sides brought in a series of replacements in the next 15 minutes.

Iglesias slotted another three-pointer on the 70th minute as the Pumas now started sniffing down the Wallabies neck with trail of mere four points.

However, on the 74th minute Foley slotted a penalty from out in front putting the Pumas a 'converted-try' distance away from equalizing the scoreboard.

Wallabies blindside-flanker Dean Mumm raced out of the defensive line to score the fourth try of the evening for his side on the 77th minute. Foley failed to make the conversion as the scoreline stayed on 21-33 until the full-time whistle.

The win has helped the Wallabies to seal second place on the table as the Boks succumbed to a heavy 15-57 defeat against the All Blacks earlier in the day.
