Benetton Treviso 11 - 22 Ulster

Rob Herring and his men completed an effortless 11-22 win over Benetton Treviso at Stadio Comunale di Monigo during the Pro12 clash on Saturday.

The Irish looked comfortably in-charge of the proceedings till the very last minute as they outscored the Italian side three to one in the tries tally with the hosts scoring a try on the final minute of the match.

Centre Luke Marshall (3) scored the opening try of the game for the visitors.

Treviso lock Filo Paulo was sent to sin-bin in the 49th minute reducing the hosts down to 14 men. The Irish made most of the opportunity as hooker Rob Herring (53) and Ruan Pienaar (57) scored a try each.

Pienaar also had a productive game with the boot as the scrum-half kicked a couple of successful conversions and a penalty.

The win now places Ulster third in the table with nine points, while the Italian side is positioned second-to-last after losing both their round-robin encounters.
