The Rugby Championship kicked off this weekend with New Zealand easing to a victory over Argentina whilst Australia and South Africa stole the show thanks to a dramatic ending in Brisbane.

All four sides had players which made a mark in Round One of the Championship so here is how fantasy rugby website www.testrugby.com graded the Southern Hemisphere talent.

Australia had the most players in team of the week with six, with South Africa having five, New Zealand three and Argentina just the one.

That one player for the Pumas was Captain Agustin Creevy who was named player of Round One.

He threw 10 successful lineouts and making 11 go forwards. The 30-year old also scored two tries in quick succession before being substituted.

Other players which caught the eye were Australia’s Isarel Folau and Tevita Kurdrani, New Zealand Number Eight Kieran Read and South Africa back Damian de Allende.

Like during the Super Rugby season, it is important to check the squads before you pick you fantasy team given the resting, rotating and injuries.
