The Stormers ran an eight try riot against the Kings in Cape Town to secure a dominant 52-22 victory on Saturday.

Centre Huw Jones (0, 14, 45, 79) scored four, while winger Leolin Zas (26, 59, 66) scored a hat-trick.

Fly-half Jean-Luc du Plessis managed to convert all three tries before limping off the field with an ankle injury.

Brandon Thomson, who came in as replacement for du Plessis, put up an impressive show by crossing over for a try in the 69th minute in addition to converting three out of five tries.

In response, the Kings managed to score three tries. Fullback Malcolm Jaer (37), winger Wandie Mjekevu (76) and centre Stefan Watermeyer (80) did the honors.

Fly-half Dewald Human scored a penalty in the 20th minute in addition to converting Jaer's try. His replacement Elgar Watts succeeded in converting both late tries for the Kings as eventually the visitors succumbed to a massive 30-point defeat.

The Stormers will now face the Chiefs in a home quarter-final next weekend.
