South Africa name 36-man squad for Bloemfontein training camp

South Africa director of rugby Rassie Erasmus has named a 36-member squad for the upcoming four-day training camp in Bloemfontein.

This will be the final training camp for the Springboks before Erasmus announces the final 31-man World Cup squad for the showpiece event on 26th August.

Wilco Louw, Scarra Ntubeni, Dillyn Leyds and Marco van Staden, who were part of the game against Argentina in Pretoria last weekend has been released back to their respective provinces while Marcell Coetzee. who sustained a head injury in the same game was not included as well.

The Springboks will face host Japan in Kumagaya in their final warm-up game on 6th September before they kick-start their World Cup campaign on 21st September against the All Blacks in Yokohama.
