Slade, Underhill and McConnochie to miss England's game against Wales

England will miss the services of Henry Slade, Sam Underhill and Ruaridh McConnochie for the upcoming World Cup warm-up game against Wales to be played at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday.

Underhill, who was named vice-captain for the encounter has a knee injury with Slade having a toe problem. Ruaridh McConnochie was set to make his debut but misses out with a hip injury.

Joe Cokanasiga, Jonathan Joseph and Lewis Ludlum will now start in the Twickenham game in their places.

Meanwhile, according to a report in The Times, Ben Te’o and Mike Brown were left out from England's matchday squad against Wales following an altercation that took place between them during the training camp in Treviso.

England starting line-up: 15 Elliot Daly, 14 Joe Cokanasiga, 13 Jonathan Joseph, 12 Piers Francis, 11 Anthony Watson, 10 George Ford (c), 9 Willi Heinz; 1 Ellis Genge, 2 Luke Cowan-Dickie, 3 Dan Cole, 4 Joe Launchbury, 5 Charlie Ewels, 6 Lewis Ludlam, 7 Tom Curry, 8 Billy Vunipola.

Replacements: 16 Jack Singleton, 17 Joe Marler, 18 Harry Williams, 19 George Kruis, 20 Courtney Lawes, 21 Ben Youngs, 22 Joe Marchant, 23 Manu Tuilagi.
