Cardiff Blues 43 - 29 Dragons, Cardiff Arms Park

Replacement Matthew Morgan scored a double while Jarrod Evans contributed with 18 points as Cardiff Blues completed a 43-29 bonus point win over Dragons in their Pro 14 clash at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday.

Dragons entered the game with nearly 31 players unavailable due to injury but still managed a 10-21 lead at half-time before surrendering the second half.

Winger Adam Warren scored an early second minute try for Dragons with Gavin Henson following it with a conversion as Dragons took an early 0-7 lead. Cardiff Blues' problems compounded further when they lost prop Taufa'ao Filise to sin-bin but despite the setback Seb Davies went past the line in the sixth minute to level the scores.

The momentum once again swung towards the visitors as Elliott Dee (10') and winger George Gasson (31') scored further tries to ensure an 11 point lead for the visitors.

The Blues showed more intent in the second half with tries from Morgan (44' and 72'), Tom James (60'), Alex Cuthbert (65') and Evans (69') to wrap up the 14 point victory while Lloyd Fairbrother's last minute touchdown ensured Dragons got a losing bonus point.
