Coach Simon Hardy has ended his 22-year association with England.

The former hooker has predominantly worked as forwards coach and played an integral role in England's 2003 World Cup triumph.

During his tenure, Hardy has been part of three Under-20 World Cup winning England teams while he was also a line-out specialist for the seniors team in the recently concluded 2015 World Cup.

Revealing the experience with the Rugby Football Union as "exciting", Hardy is now looking forward to future challenges.

"Throughout my time with the RFU it has been exciting and rewarding.

"I feel lucky to have experienced so much success and to have worked with such incredible players and coaches. I look forward to using these experiences in future challenges."
