Dragons 37-16 Brive, Rodney Parade
Scorecard

The Newport Gwent Dragons ran five tries with four in the second-half as they thrashed Brive by 37-16 at the Rodney Parade stadium in Newport during the 2016-17 European Rugby Challenge Cup match on Friday.

Things ended pretty even-steven at the end of the first half with each side having 13 points beside their name on the scoreboard.

Kingsley Jones' men up'd the ante in the concluding 16 minutes to register four tries.

Lock Rynard Landman (11), openside-flanker Lewis Evans (64), lock Cory Hill (68), left-wing Hallam Amos (73) and inside-centre Adam Warren (75) crossed over the try lines for the Dragons.

Fly-half Nick MacLeod scored a couple of penalties in addition to converting Landman's try. His replacement, Angus O'Brien failed to convert Evans' and Amos' try, however, managed to covert Hill and Warren's try.

Fly-half Thomas Laranjeira was the lone try scorer for the visitors as he scored a converted try on the 17th minute in addition to slotting three penalties.

With the bonus-point win into their bag, the Dragons couldn't have asked for a more perfect start.
