Scarlets 44 - 21 Bath

The Scarlets scored a major 35-point haul in the second-half which included five converted tries to bag a resounding 44-21 victory over Bath after recovering 12 points half-time deficit at Parc y Scarlets during the 2016-17 Anglo-Welsh Cup clash on Friday.

Jack Condy scored a double during the concluding stages of the game as the blindside-flanker crossed over the try line on 76th and 79th minute.

Openside-flanker Josh Macleod (53), replacement Tom Phillips (64), and hooker Emyr Phillips (69) scored a try each for the hosts.

Fly-half Dan Jones managed to convert four tries in addition to slotting three penalties while his replacement Billy McBryde scored the final conversion.

Tighthead prop Max Lahiff (25, 30) scored a double for the visitors while right-wing Jeff Williams (35) also scored a try. Fly-half Rhys Priestland successfully converted all three tries for his side.

The Scarlets will now travel to the Rodney Parade stadium to face the Dragons next Friday, while Bath will host Gloucester at the Recreation Ground in Round 3 clash.
