The Welsh Rugby Union has confirmed that Dragons centre Tyler Morgan will miss the Wales' autumn internationals following an ankle injury.

Morgan suffered the blow during the starting stages of the recently concluded Pro 14 clash against Ospreys in Swansea which Dragons went on to lose 28-14.

Meanwhile, Warren Gatland has recalled Scarlets centre Scott Williams as a replacement for Morgan for the November Tests.

Williams has played 48 Tests for Wales since his debut in 2011 and his last appearance for Wales came during the summer tour in June.

"Tyler Morgan's ankle injury sustained in the fixture for the Dragons against the Ospreys last weekend will preclude him from taking any part in the Under Armour Series - with this in mind he will continue his management at his region," a statement released by WRU read.

"Scarlets centre Scott Williams joined the squad this morning."

Wales will face Australia, Georgia, New Zealand and South Africa in their autumn internationals that kicks-off on 11th November.
