Leinster 15 - 27 Scarlets

Scarlets came up with a clinical three try performance as they managed to overcome a red card to Steffan Evans to win the Pro 12 semi-final by 15-27 in Dublin on Friday.

Steffan opened the account for Scarlets with a eighth minute try while fly-half Rhys Patchell increased the lead to nine points with his conversion.

The Irish regional side bounced back through a 23rd minute try from Garry Ringrose with Isa Nacewa kicking a conversion and a penalty on either side to make it 10-7 in favour of Leinster.

The momentum once again shifted in favour of Scarlets with Aaron Shingler and Gareth Davies crossing over in a span of five minutes to put Scarlets in a 10-21 lead despite a 37th minute red card to Steffan. The sent-off came after Ringrose landed on his head after his legs were lifted by the Scarlets winger.

After the third quarter went without a point, number eight Jack Conan brought down the gap to six points with his try in the 63rd minute but was negated by a double penalty from Liam Williams as Scarlets pulled off an incredible 12 point win.

Scarlets now will take on the winner of Munster and Ospreys in the final of the Pro 12 this season.
