The European Champions Cup clash between Saracens and Clermont-Auvergne has been postponed following hazardous conditions on the approach roads to Allianz Park, and in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

According to a statement released by the EPCR it was decided that the Pool 2 encounter will be rescheduled to a different date keeping in mind the health and safety of players, spectators and staff in mind.

A Saracens statement said: "Saracens can confirm that their round three European Rugby Champions Cup fixture versus ASM Clermont Auvergne has been called-off due to the adverse weather conditions surrounding Allianz Park.

"The club is currently liaising directly with EPCR regarding further details and fans are advised not to travel to Allianz Park."

Saracens are currently at the top of the Pool with 10 points from two games while Clermont-Auvergne has nine from the same number of matches.
