Cotter now head coach of Montpellior has reportedly offered a 7-figure sum to the Glasgow Warrior, in what would be the highest paid contract to a British player in the Top 14.

Return to Falcons:

Currently at Leicester Tiger, George McGuigan is set to return to the North East with the Newcastle Falcons after two seasons in the Midlands.

With Tom Youngs and Tatafu Polota-Nau ahead of him in the hooker pecking order, McGuigan is due to sign with the Falcons following the potential departure of Santiago Socino.
