Rugby Rumours: Rebel Toomua, Tolofua's Top14 return, Chief Chiocci and Jacques at Bath

Rebel Toomua:

Australian reports have confirmed the desire of Melbourn Rebels to sign Leicester Tigers' centre Matt Toomua.

The 28 year-old who boasts 33 Wallaby caps is being hunted by the Super Rugby side, and could be seen back in the Green & Gold too.

Tolofua's Top14 return:

ASM Clermont Auvergne have made contact with the Saracens hooker Christopher Tolofua about a potential return to the Top14.

Tolofua joined the English Premiership from Toulouse in 2017, and would bolster the Clermont ranks with the departing Benjamin Kayser.

Chief Chiocci:

Xavier Chiocci has been with Toulon since 2011, but is rumoured to be looking at a new club in the freshly branded Gallagher Premiership.

Exeter Cheifs have been linked with the Top 14 loosehead prop, who has 10 international caps with France to his name.

Jacques at Bath:

Lions front-rower Jacques van Rooyen has been tied with a move to Bath Rugby as injury cover for Beno Obano.

The Super Rugby prop can play both loosehead or tighthead, and at 31 years old, wouldn't be looking at future international appearances for SA.
