Rugby Rumours: Liam in Lyon, Saracens move on Lewington, the Bordeaux Beast and Moala to France

Liam in Lyon:

There are rumours that former All Black back-rower Liam Messam is being pursued by an array of Top 14 clubs.

Lyon are leading the charge for the 43 times capped New Zealander who is currently in Super Rugby with the Chiefs.

Saracens move on Lewington:

Alex Lewington joined London Irish 4 years ago, and continues to entertain the Premiership new comers at the Madejski stadium.

Saracens have shown their hand and expressed an interest in the 26 year-old flyer, who is top of the clean-breaks stats in the English top tier.

the Bordeaux Beast:

Bordeaux-Bègles are actively looking on the transfer market for a replacement for their exiting front-row Sebastien Taofifenua.

BB President Laurent Marti is after giving the 32 year-old Springbok Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira a contract in the Top 14.

Moala to France:

George Moala is the latest Kiwi linked with a move to France with Clermont Auvergne, it's said he is close to finalising a deal.

The 27 year-old made his All Blacks debut in 2015 but hasn't played in a test since the end of last year and is looking for a new challenge.
