Rugby Rumours: Greig hunt, Vern's wedge, Ben in Bath and Pablo's return

Greig hunt:

The Gloucester and Scotland talisman Greig Laidlaw is very much the inform scum-half in the Premiership at the moment.

He's caught the attention of the Top 14 big spenders (shock!) in Toulon, Toulouse and Clermont (who are leading the way) who are tussling for a player of his class.

Vern's wedge:

As we all know by now ex-Scotland head coach Vern Cotter will join Top 14 heavyweights Montpellier.

But it's not his move that's got us talking, but his 3 year contract, reportedly worth €3million over 3 years, let's hope his win ratio is better then 50% he had whilst with Scotland.

Ben in Bath:

Bath appear to be making a motion towards former Australian international centre Ben Tapuai.

The 27 year plays his rugby at the Western Force and, amongst other attributes, is a left-footed kicker at 12 which would complement both George Ford or Rhys Priestland.

Pablo's return:

Argentinian international back-rower Pablo Matera is allegedly being head hunted by his former club Leicester Tigers.

Currently signed to the Jaguares of Super Rugby, he spent a couple of years at the Tigers earlier in his career and may welcome a return...
