Glasgow Warriors 31-14 Benetton Treviso, Scotstoun Stadium

Rory Hughes scored a try in both halves as Glasgow Warriors went on to defeat Benetton Treviso 31-14 at Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday.

The bonus point win has taken Glasgow Warriors to the top of the table replacing Munster.

Lock Jonny Gray (5'), centre Mark Bennett (12'), wing Hughes (27') and centre Alex Dunbar (38') scored tries in the first half while fly half Finn Russell converted three of the tries to ensure a 19-point lead at half time.

However, Benetton Treviso's penalty try and fly half Ian McKinley's conversion were the only success for the visitors in the first 40 minutes. The penalty try came after Dunbar was sin-binned for Glasgow Warriors.

Hughes strolled across the post for the second time in the game in the 46th minute to secure the bonus point for Glasgow Warriors.

Even though, Davide Giazzon scored a consolation try for Treviso following the sin-bin of Langilangi Haupeakui in the 65th minute, the visitors went on to lose the game by 17-point margin.

This was their sixth defeat in seven games and are languishing at the bottom of the table while Glasgow Warriors top the table with 26 points.
