Romania - Rugby's Dependables

They’ve featured in every World Cup since its inauguration and are preparing for the sport’s biggest stage once again in less than 500 days in England. So how do Romania remain so consistent?

Along with Japan and Canada, the Eastern Europeans have qualified for every tournament since the first in 1987, whilst competing in the first division of the European Nations Cup.

Most recently they finished third in the 2008-2010 competition.

In their signature yellow and blue strip the Romanians will travel to English shores for the 2015 tournament, where they are to face France, Ireland, Italy and Canada in Pool D.
