Blues winger Rieko Ioane has been included in the All Blacks squad for the round two clash of the Rugby Championship against Australia at Westpac Stadium.

The 19-year-old uncapped player is among the five replacements named as a series of injury hit the All Blacks squad in their 42-8 victorious opening game against the same opponent at ANZ Stadium last week.

George Moala (knee), Ryan Crotty (head), Waisake Naholo (hamstring) are already out of the game due to their respective injuries while Codie Taylor is also under doubt after suffering a head injury in Sydney. With Nathan Harris already out of the season with a knee injury, the All Blacks have summoned two hookers - Liam Coltman and James Parsons for the Wellington Test.

Ioane, who scored in the victories over France and Argentina for New Zealand sevens during the Rio Olympics received a lot of appreciation from All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen.

"He had a very good Super season and he's someone that we see having a big career," Hansen said.

"He's 19 but he's been to the Olympics. He's been on the sevens stage. He's done a lot of worldly things. But this environment I'm sure will really test him so we'll just have to monitor that and see how he copes with it."

Meanwhile, for Australia, Matt Giteau and Rob Horne are suffering from a fractured leg and shoulder injury respectively.
