Saracens number eight Billy Vunipola is set to feature in the starting line-up for England in the upcoming Six Nations clash against Scotland which was evident from the training on Tuesday.

Two whiteboards placed on the field in Surrey training base had Vunipola in the place of Nathan Hughes in the starting XV.

The 24-year-old made a comeback from a knee injury in last weekend's Aviva Premiership game for Saracens against Newcastle Falcons where he played for 72 minutes and England scrum coach Neal Hatley had already indicated that Vunipola is a part of their plans for the Calcutta Cup tie.

Jack Nowell's two-try performance against Italy is likely to help him secure a place in the XV replacing Jonny May while Elliot Daly is set to be retained on right wing.

Ben Youngs and Jonathan Joseph are likely to be recalled at scrum-half and outside centre replacing Danny Care and Ben Te'o respectively.

England coach Eddie Jones is expected to announce the matchday 23 on Thursday morning with his team on the brink of matching the world record set by New Zealand on 18 consecutive wins.
