Harlequins 21-19 Bristol Rugby, Twickenham Stadium
Scorecard

Fly-half Nick Evans' timely performance with the boot helped Harlequins to secure a narrow 21-19 victory against Bristol Rugby during the Aviva Premiership clash at the Twickenham Stadium on Saturday.

The visitors despite scoring three tries as opposed to two by the hosts, lost to Danny Care and his men by a slender two points margin.

Wing Tom Varndell (20), fly-half Tusi Pisi (26) and wing Ryan Edwards (41) scored tries for the visitors, while centre Gavin Henson managed to convert just the first two out of the three tries.

Wing Marland Yarde (38) and Joe Marchant (40) crossed over the try line for the Quins, while Evans apart from converting Marchant's try, scored three crucial penalties.

Bristol, who have made a comeback to the Premiership rugby after an absence of seven years, led for most of the game but Evans' level headed performance proved out to be a rain on their parade.

Widely regarded as the most competitive rugby union league in the world...it can only be the Gallagher Premiership.

The division is becoming more and more exciting as each year passes by so who will be lifting silverware at Twickenham in May?
