New Zealand ran a 12-try riot as they warmed up for the British and Irish Lions series with an intimidating 78-0 win over Samoa at Eden Park on Friday.

Anton Lienert-Brown (11'), Beauden Barrett (29'), Ardie Savea (33') and Sonny Bill Williams (39') were the try scorers for New Zealand in the first half. Fly-half Beauden converted all four tries as well to make it 28-0 for All Blacks at the end of the first half.

The onslaught from Steve Hansen's men continued in the second half as well with Israel Dagg (41'), Julian Savea (51'), Codie Taylor (55'), Beauden (58') Vaea Fifita (61'), TJ Perenara (71'), Ardie (75') and Sam Cane (78') all crossed over for the home side in the second half to complete a 78-0 victory.

New Zealand will now lock horns with British and Irish Lions in Auckland on 24th June while Samoa will face Wales next in Apia on 23rd June.
