Moyano Joya hat-trick powers Argentina to 45-29 win

Ramiro Moyano Joya scored a hat-trick while Nicolas Sanchez contributed with 20 points as Argentina completed a comfortable 45-29 win over Georgia at Estadio 23 de Agosto on Saturday.

Fly-half Sanchez scored four penalties for Argentina in the first 30 minutes which also saw a sin-bin to Moyano Joya, resulting in a penalty for Georgia that was completed successfully by Merab Kvirikashvili.

The infringement from either side continued and this time Georgia's Giorgi Nemsadze was sent off temporarily as Agustin Creevy and Joaquin Tuculet made the one additional man advantage count with back-to-back tries. A touchdown from Davit Kacharava at the stroke of half time saw Georgia reducing their trail to 18 points at the end of the first half.

Moyano Joya, who had returned from sin-bin at the end of the first half provided more advantage to the hosts with three back to back tries that came in the 41st, 52nd and 55th minutes. Even though Georgia had sealed a penalty try in the 50th minute and replacements Soso Matiashvili and Shalva Mamukashvili crossed over, they succumbed to a 16 point defeat.
