London and Bury: Mitsubishi Motors in the UK are the Official Performance Partner of England Rugby. What’s more, it is not just England players who are seeing the benefits – it’s across the game at every level. Over the coming months we will be following the RFU’s vehicles across the country. The first view was on Saturday 29th October at Park Lane, Bury – the home of Sedgley Park Tigers. The Tigers were at home playing Stourbridge RFC in National 2 North. The RFU show cased the Talking Rugby Union coverage on 31st October 2016 - http://www.englandrugby.com/news/national-leagues-weekend-wrap-1321187/

For England Rugby, their new Performance Partner is using ‘Intelligent Motion’ to test the team ahead of the Old Mutual Wealth Series by putting players through a series of cutting edge performance tests.

An innovative mix of aerodynamics and technology, the drive to improve performance is at the heart of this initiative. The testing took place close to National 2 North newcomers, Hinckley RFC at the MIRA Transport Technology Centre. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/hinckley/teams/37300

England Rugby Captain, Dylan Hartley and fellow teammates, Jonny May and Alex Goode put their skills to the test through a series of intuitive challenges in the state of the art transportation laboratories The England Internationals were faced with winds of up to 45 mph while testing their quick feet drills, target practice and hand eye co-ordination.

Combining the brand’s heritage in innovation and technology with England Rugby head coach, Eddie Jones’ intelligent intuition for the game, the players’ reactions, accuracy, and agility were all performance tested. Jones is no stranger to Hinckley Rugby and its fans; he opened the new clubhouse at the start of the season.

“Eddie is not only a great international coach of the elite, he is also an inspiration to the grassroots - a true rugby man and we would like to thank him very much being here today.”John Tilley, Hinckley RFC Chairma
The Intelligent Motion campaign builds on the partnership with England Rugby which will shine a light on the smart thinking and play within the team. The brand’s support for the game is from grassroots level all the way up to the elite squad, building towards the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

As Performance Partner, Mitsubishi Motors will be supporting the next generation of England players, as principal partner and front of shirt sponsor of the England U20s, U18s, and elite player pathway.
