England international Manu Tuilagi is set to make a comeback from a knee injury that kept him on the sidelines for three months.

The 26-year-old sustained the blow while playing for his club Leicester Tigers during their Aviva Premiership encounter against Bath in September that also costed him a place in England's autumn international squad.

Leicester Tigers head coach Matt O'Connor confirmed that Tuilagi has returned to training but a call on his participation in the Saturday's game against Wasps will be taken based on the results.

"Manu is training and we will make a call if we can fit him into the group or not," O'Connor told BBC Radio Leicester.

The 6ft centre has made 27 international appearances and was recently part of the training camp under Eddie Jones but was sent home along with Denny Solomona for disciplinary reasons.

Leicester Tigers are currently positioned fourth in the table after managing six wins from nine games.
