England have suffered another major blow ahead of their upcoming autumn international campaign with Saracens prop Mako Vunipola sidelined for up to six weeks.

The 27-year-old sustained the blow during the 22nd minute in the recently concluded European Champions Cup game against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium last weekend which Saracens went on to win 3-13.

The game also saw Mako's brother Billy Vunipola sustain a broken arm that has ruled him out of the November series.

England will be already without Chris Robshaw, Joe Launchbury, Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Ellis Genge, Beno Obano, Dan Robson for their November series while Ben Te'o is also doubtful for the campaign.

Meanwhile, Nathan Hughes was banned for six weeks and will miss the first three autumn international games for England while centre Alex Lozowski was banned for two weeks on Tuesday after being found guilty of dangerously entering a ruck.
