Bulls will miss the services of South Africa lock Lood de Jager for the next four months following his latest injury setback during the Super Rugby encounter against Sharks last weekend at Loftus Versfeld.

The 25-year-old, who was one of the try-scorer in the game that saw his team win 39-33 left the field with a suspected pectoral injury and underwent a scan following the game which revealed a damage in his chest muscle that will keep him on the sidelines for close to four months.

Meanwhile, prop Lizo Gqoboka, who left the field in the 27th minute has torn a tendon and will now require a surgery that will keep him out of action for four to six months.

Bulls are currently positioned third in South African Conference and will face Jaguares in their next round at Estadio Jose Amalfitani on 20th May.
