Wales' injury woes ahead of the Test series against New Zealand continues as scrum-half Lloyd Williams and prop Paul James have been ruled out of the tour without playing a game.

Williams, who has made 27 appearances for Wales, injured his ankle during the training ahead of the first Test on Saturday and will be returning home along with James, who is suffering from a calf strain.

Scarlets scrum-half Aled Davies and Ospreys prop Aaron Jarvis have been named as replacements and have already joined the squad for the Auckland Test. They are expected to be part of the action against Chiefs on Tuesday.

After the first Test at Eden Park on Saturday, Wales will play the remaining two Tests against New Zealand on 18th and 25th June in Wellington and Dunedin respectively.
