Moore, who has played for Ireland 10 times sustained the blow during Ulster's recently concluded Pro14 game against Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield Stadium where he played for 10 minutes before limping off the field.

The 28-year-old will now consult a specialist to decide on the rehabilitation but the club have already confirmed that he is unlikely to play any part in the ongoing season.
