Scorecard

Manie Libbok scored the decisive converted try in the closing stage as Bulls went on to draw the Super Rugby game against Blues 22-22 at Eden Park on Friday.

The win has taken Bulls to the second place in the South African group with 34 points while Blues move to fourth place in the New Zealand Conference.

The opening 17 minutes saw Libbok and his counterpart Harry Plummer exchange penalties as the scores were levelled 3-3.

Just at the end of the opening quarter, Bulls got their first try with Hanro Liebenberg collecting a pass from RG Snyman to dot down but it was short lived as Ofa Tu'ungafasi crossed over for Blues and Plummer's conversion proved to be the difference in the first half as the teams went into the break with a 10-8 scoreline.

Scott Scrafton with an early try in the 46th minute stretched Blues' lead to seven points but Bulls bounced back to level the scores with a try with Cornal Hendricks crashing over the line in the 53rd minute.

As the game headed into the final quarter Akira Ioane gave Blues a sizeable advantage with a try in the 63rd minute and Plummer followed with the conversion but only for the teams to share the points with Libbok's heroics in the 76th minute.
