Glasgow Warriors 15 - 16 Munster

Fly-half Ian Keatley was at his best on Friday as he helped his team to a 15-16 victory for Munster Rugby over Glasgow Warriors with a late drop goal in the Pro 12 clash between the two teams.

Keatley scored an early eighth minute penalty to get Munster off the mark following which full-back Andrew Conway crossed over. The fly-half added the extras to take the visitors to a 10-point lead.

Glasgow Warriors number 10 Peter Horne responded with a penalty of his own but was negated by Keatley's three-pointer at the stroke of the half time that maintained the 10 point lead for Munster heading into the second half.

Gregor Townsend's men came with an improved performance in the second half when Scotland international Ali Price crossed over in the 61st minute while eight minutes later centre Nick Grigg rumbled past the line. Replacement fly-half Rory Clegg added a conversion on one occasion as Glasgow Warriors took a two-point lead for the first time in the game.

Just when the game was heading towards the home team's side, Keatley scored the decisive drop goal in the 76th minute to secure an one-point win for Munster.

Munster top the table with 37 points from 10 games while Glasgow Warriors have slipped to the fifth position.
