England's injury woes ahead of the autumn internationals has increased further after Leicester Tigers wing Jonny May is set to miss the opening game against Argentina with a hamstring injury.

May, who has been in excellent form on what was his debut season for the Tigers suffered the injury during the ongoing training camp in Portugal.

The news will be a big blow to England coach Eddie Jones, who has already lost the services of Elliot Daly and Jack Nowell due to their respective injuries.

That leaves the red rose team with Anthony Watson, Denny Solomona and Semesa Rokoduguni as the possible wing options among the announced squad.

Talented young Harlequins fly-half Marcus Smith, who was included in the squad as one of the two 'apprentice players' has also returned home after nursing a foot injury during the training.

England will face Argentina, Australia and Samoa in their autumn internationals on 11th, 18th and 25th November respectively at Twickenham.
