England coach Eddie Jones has left out Bath centre Jonathan Joseph for the upcoming Six Nations clash against Italy at Twickenham on Sunday.

The 25-year-old fails to find a spot on the bench for the second time since Jones took over after he was dropped for the autumn international game against South Africa with Eliott Daly taking his place.

Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell is set to make his 50th appearance for England and Daly might partner with Ben Te'o for an inside midfield partnership.

Anthony Watson is also poised for a return to the matchday 23 after missing the autumn internationals and the opening two rounds of the Six Nations tournament and is in contention for a wing spot along with Jonny May and Jack Nowell.

Jones might also be tempted to hand James Haskell his first start in this tournament against Italy as England aim to stretch their winning streak to 17 games against the Azzuris.
