England will miss the services of Northampton Saints prop Paul Hill and Harlequins centre Joe Marchant in the upcoming tour of Argentina due to injuries.

Hill, who has been capped five times for the red rose team after making his debut in February 2016 has sustained a toe injury while Marchant is suffering from a neck problem.

Meanwhile Sale Sharks winger Denny Solomona has returned to his Aviva Premiership club to continue his recovery from a foot strain that he sustained during the training camp in Brighton.

A statement released by Rugby Football Union confirmed that Solomona will undergo a fitness test at the end of the week before a decision on him is taken.

England boss Eddie Jones is set to announce a 31-man squad for the tour of Argentina on Monday following the conclusion of Aviva Premiership final and also the red rose team's clash against Barbarians.
