England coach Eddie Jones has called-up London Irish winger Joe Cokanasiga for the two-day training camp in Brighton ahead of the Six Nations 2018 tournament.

The news follows after five players - Bath pair Charlie Ewels and Jonathan Joseph, Northampton fly-half Piers Francis and Exeter winger Jack Nowell and prop Harry Williams - have been ruled out of the training camp due to injuries that they sustained during their weekend fixtures.

An RFU statement said: "Following injuries sustained on the weekend, Charlie Ewels (hamstring), Piers Francis (concussion), Jonathan Joseph (dead leg), Jack Nowell (ankle) and Harry Williams (concussion) will not join up with England for their training camp today. H enry Thomas (Bath Rugby) and Joe Cokanasiga (London Irish) have been called up into the squad for the two-day camp in Brighton."

Cokanasiga, a former England U20 international was already called-up during the red rose team's summer tour of Argentina last year but did not play due to picking up an injury in London Irish's end-of-season playoff battles for promotion from the Championship back to the Premiership.

England will open their Six Nations title defence with a clash against Italy at Stadio Olimpico on 4th February.
