Former Redruth and University of Bath player James Huxtable passed away on Saturday morning.
His team, Belsize Rugby Club, said the player was the victim of a tragic train accident.
Huxtable joined the London-based side after a successful spell with National Two South outfit Redruth where is father and grandfather also played.
"Hux, you were a beautiful, funny, quality man and a great friend. A class act that your family can be so proud of and our Club is privileged that you chose us," Belsize RFC said.
The club has also set-up a page for friends and the wider rugby community to give them an opportunity to post a memory or message of condolence to James' family. http://bprfc.co.uk/james-hux-huxtable/.
Also teammate Lewis Dyke posted this message on UBRFC's Facebook page: 'For anyone who wanted to come to Hux's funeral, it will be held on Thursday 5th April in Taunton at St Mary Magdalene Church at 2:30pm, followed by a private cremation at 4pm and then on to Taunton Rugby Club for the wake.
'Family flowers and donations for The Wooden Spoon Society, the Rugby Charity for children.'
From all of us at TRU, our thoughts are with James' family and friends.
Always in our thoughts...
