Jaguares 52-10 Sunwolves, Estadio Jose Amalfitani
Scorecard

Jaguares came up with a dominant performance as they defeated Sunwolves 52-10 in the final round of the Super Rugby clash at Estadio Jose Amalfitani on Friday.

This is Jaguares' 11th win from 16 games as they finished at the top of South African Conference while Sunwolves finished at the bottom of the Australian Conference.

Santiago Carreras started the proceedings with an 11th minute try and Domingo Miotti followed with the conversion to take the scoreline 7-0. The Japanese side narrowed down the gap to two points with Gerhard van den Heever getting them off the mark with a 28th minute touchdown.

Mistakes from Sunwolves costed them dearly with Nathan Vella's pass was intercepted by Sebastian Cancelliere as he dotted down in the 33rd minute but once again the visitors responded back with a 37th minute try from Semisi Masirewa.

Nevertheless, just as the break was approaching, Sunwolves landed themselves into trouble with Masirewa's sin-bin that also resulted in a penalty try for Jaguares.

As Sunwolves failed to find any momentum in the second half, tries from Julian Montoya (42'), Juan Cruz Mallia (56'), Matias Moroni (62'), Javier Ortega Desio (64') and Cancelliere (74') ensured there was no looking back for Jaguares as they completed a 42 point win.
