Jack Wills, the lifestyle brand, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Bath Rugby team to provide official team formalwear.

As part of the agreement as Official formalwear sponsor, Jack Wills will clothe all of Bath's players and support team, including current England international players Anthony Watson, George Ford, Jonathan Joseph and Dave Attwood, in head to toe Jack Wills.

This is the first time that Jack Wills has joined forces with a major professional sports team, although it has history of supporting University Varsity rugby teams of the universities of Oxford and Cambridge in England where Jack Wills was Official Apparel Partner, providing match kit for The Varsity Match, the annual rugby union fixture played between the teams.

The initial sponsorship is set to last for 2 years and Jack Wills has specially customised its shirts, chinos and coats, tailoring them to each player – alongside producing its signature Bridgenorth boxer shorts in Bath colours.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Pete Williams CEO of Jack Wills said: "Bath is a great top flight team and I'm extremely pleased to have developed this partnership to provide official formalwear to the entire squad. At Jack Wills we have long been associated with sports teams and more recently have started to work with and back the next generation of British athletes and sporting stars as part of our ‘Fittest Brits’ initiative.”

Matt Powell, Business Development Director at Bath Rugby added: "We’ve been really impressed by the quality of Jack Wills clothing and we're delighted to have this sponsorship agreement in place. Jack Wills will offer a lot to both the club and fans throughout the partnership including exclusive competitions and prizes. The team look extremely smart on match days and it's thanks to the well-made, tailored clothing from Jack Wills.”

Jack Wills launched its Fittest Brits initiative in 2016 and this includes young UK athletes whose sporting stars are on the ascent including Will Satch, Gold Medal winner in the Men’s Coxed Eight at the Rio Olympics, Georgie Twigg, Gold Medal winner in the Women’s hockey at the Rio Olympics and former Royal Marine and Mental Health Ambassador for HRH Prince Harry’s Invictus Games, Louis Nethercott.
