Jack Nowell doubtful for England ahead of France clash

Jack Nowell may not feature against France in Saturday's Six Nations clash after missing training on Tuesday morning.

The 24-year-old Exeter wing is a key component of head coach Eddie Jones' playbook having played a vital role in all three previous rounds of this year's tournament.

In event of Nowell misses out of the trip to Paris, 25-year-old Wasps wing Elliot Daly will be poised to make his comeback from ankle and calf problems.

Eddie Jones' men are in a crunch situation with a must-win away game to keep their Six Nations Championship hope alive.

An official update on the situation is expected at lunchtime later today.
