Ireland international Dave Foley is set to make his debut in Top 14 next season after signing a deal with French club Pau.

The 28-year-old will make a switch from Munster, who he joined in 2010 and has been on the sidelines for quite a while after sustaining a wrist injury.

Foley has also made two international appearances for Ireland in 2014 against Georgia and Australia but has dropped out of contention since then.

A statement released by Munster confirmed the news on Foley.

"A product of the Munster academy, the Clonmel native made his debut against Connacht in April 2010, and went on to make his European starting debut against Gloucester in January 2014," read the statement.

"In making 84 appearances for the province, the 28-year-old made his final Munster appearance against Scarlets at the end of February as he rehabs a wrist injury for the remainder of the season."
