Ireland have released Ultan Dillane and Rory Scannell from their squad ahead of the World Cup warm-up game against Italy to be played at Lansdowne Road this Saturday.

A statement released by Irish Rugby Football Union revealed that both the players have returned to their respective province.

After the game against Italy, Joe Schmidt's men will also face England on 24th August followed by an away and home fixture against Wales on 31st August and 7th September.
