Cheetahs 26 - 29 Glasgow, Bloemfontein

Glasgow Warriors continued their unbeaten streak in the ongoing season of Pro 14 after edging out Cheetahs 26-29 in Bloemfontein on Friday.

This is Glasgow's sixth consecutive win as they maintained the pole position in Conference A while Cheetahs suffered their first defeat at home.

Finn Russell got Glasgow Warriors off the mark with a second minute penalty but Cheetahs bounced back with a touchdown from Sergeal Petersen in the 11th minute while Ernst Stapelberg followed it with a conversion and a penalty to make it 10-3.

The scores were soon levelled after Callum Gibbins went past the line in the 32nd minute and Russell kicked the extras. However, Cheetahs managed to pull things back a bit with their second try that came through Rosko Speckman as they ended the first half with a 17-10 lead.

The game was even-steven as Glasgow did manage to equal the scores once again when Gibbins strolled past the post for the second time and the scoreline remained 17-17.

Even though Stapelberg kicked three penalties between the 58th and 75th minute, tries from replacements Henry Pyrgos and Rob Harley ensured Glasgow Warriors completed a three point victory.
